They were a long way from their South American homeland, but Dennis and Charlie the llamas felt right at home when owner Chris Eke brought them to Great Warley.
Chris, who launches a llama trekking firm in Dorset in the spring, was paying a Christmas visit to his family at The Forge and decided to bring his furry friends along for the ride.
The former St Martin's schoolboy's fascination with the animals first began during a holiday to the United States early in 1998.
He recalled: "We went llama trekking in North Arizona, and at that point I just thought 'I fancy getting a llama or two'. I have done a lot in my life but I can honestly say it was the best thing I have ever done."
