Arena Essex boss Peter Thorogood is hoping that Leigh Lanham will return to the Purfleet raceway for the 1999 season to spearhead the Hammers Premier League side.
Thorogood is confident that the 21 year old will be available to don a Hammers racejacket again, although that issue initially rests with Lanham's parent club Ipswich.
The Elite League club who were Champions last year are currently in the process of rebuilding their squad and there is a possibility that Lanham could figure in the Suffolk club's plans.
Season tickets for the 1999 season are available until the end of the month at last year's prices of £170 (adults) and £70 (concessions).
Applications, requiring two passport size photographs, a cheque made payable to Arena Essex Speedway, plus a stamped addressed envelope, should be sent to Arena Essex Speedway, A1306 Arterial Road, Thurrock. RM19 1NX.
