Bugmania hit Basildon at the weekend as the town heaved with creepy crawlies celebrating the release of Disney's new movie A Bug's Life.
The film is not due to hit our screens until Friday but Robins Cinema in Basildon decided to get in on the fun early with an infestation of human-sized bugs to entertain local children.
The film was made by the team responsible for Toy Story.
A spokesman for the cinema said: "A Bug's Life will be the perfect treat for all the family to cheer up the gloom of winter."
