It was Mark Haines who won the one game needed, added to the four games given, to see West through against the two men.

Nicky Reece-Ford and David Knights won the final game of the evening to give Stow Maries A a 5-4 win over the ladies of Woodham D after Woodham built up a 3-0 lead to be be pulled back to 3-3 then ahead again before Stow won the last two games and the match.

Stow B had a little more to spare beating their C side 6-3. Although only Kevin Briggs was undefeated.
