Chelmsford athlete Julie Pratt equalled her personal best time winning the 60m hurdles for the Great Britain Under 23 team against France

The World Junior 100m hurdle champion matched her previous best of 8.37 seconds at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham on Saturday.

Julie, 19, was also given the honour of carrying the national flag in the pre-match parade.

This was the last race indoors for Julie this season, and now it is back to the hard training for the coming outdoor season.

"The U23 European Championship in Gothenburg is my main target for this season'' Julie said.

''I am now in full time training, which is a big help and means I should be at my peak level for Gothenburg in July," Julie added, after helping Great Britain win the match against France.
