Masses of visitors are set to whisk back in time for the 22nd annual medieval fair in Witham on Saturday.

More than 3,000 people visited the event last year and this summer's fair at St Nicolas Church, Chipping Hill, looks set to be another crowd-puller.

Attractions at the Robin Hood-theme fair include live music, an inflatable medieval joust and morris and maypole dancing.

A special event will be the teddy bear aerial runaway where children and adults can bring their favourite cuddly toys to do a zip line slide from the church tower. Brave bears get a special certificate.
