Royal London Judo Club staged a successful international event at the weekend with more than 150 players involved.

And there was plenty of success for the Colchester hosts.

Neil Langworthy swept all before him in the adult section, while junior Peter Franklin also enjoyed impressive victories.

Visitors included competitors from Holland and Belgium, and they helped make the day one to remember according to club secretary Peter Willis.

He said: "Everyone enjoyed the day and there were no problems at all.
