<A multi-talented ensemble, including musician Bobby Crush, 11 BBC radio presenters from local stations across the eastern region and members of the BBC Symphony chorus have recorded Swinging on a Star -- to help the BBC Children in Need appeal go with a swing this year.
The recording for the CD single was carried out at Boswells School, Chelmsford. Musical backing was provided by the school's choir and jazz band, and the Melvyn Beddow Big Band. The CD will be on sale from the beginning of November, from local BBC radio stations, at £3 a copy.
