A Tiptree family who lost their dog on holiday in the Peak District had him safely returned - all thanks to a Colchester couple.
Steve and Maggie Hutchinson and their children Kerry and Jonathan, of Keeble Close, were panic-stricken when they returned to their holiday cottage in Wetton, Staffordshire, and found Benji missing.
But luckily Phil and Liz Munnery, of Inworth Walk, Monkwick, Colchester, found Benji wandering along the road and handed him in to the police station.
Both couples were amazed at the coincidence - and have meet up since arriving home for the Hutchinsons to thank Benji's rescuers properly.
