Two teenagers have landed magical jobs working with the world's most famous mouse.

When Anna-Leigh Blower and Thomas Worship, both 17, finish their A-levels this summer they are heading for the Magic Kingdom.

But they will not be working with Mickey and his friend Pluto - they are taking on the roles.

The sixth formers have secured a six-month contract to become the two Disney characters in Disneyland Paris.

They will be dancing in the parades and greeting the thousands of visitors who flock to the park and walk down Main Street.

They will learn dance routines and also how to sign autographs of the famous Disney characters.

For Thomas, of Tewkesbury Road, Clacton, it is a dream come true. He has been writing to the Disney Corporation for the past four years and after a new year telephone conversation was invited to audition at the Pineapple Studios in London.

He asked if his friend Anne-Leigh, of Knox Road, Clacton, could audtion too and the delighted duo were both offered contracts.

Anna-Leigh and Thomas are both taking A levels in dance and performing arts this summer.

Thomas is then working as stage manager for Clacton's summertime Cascade Revue and Anna-Leigh hopes to get a job in the theatre.

They head off to Disneyland Paris in September and are thrilled at the prospect of being in the theme park for Christmas.

"It's a real dream come true. I've wanted to work there for years," said Thomas.
