Southend Archery Club earned their second win of the season in a Bray League recurve encounter against Holdens A.
The club won by 61 points, with captain Jeff Dowler top-scoring with 264 points and Betty Shaw (257), Michael Shaw (255), Dave Donaldson (246) and Mike Arnull (240) also weighing in with good totals.
The compound team of Harry Shaw (278 points) and Clive Redman (271) also recorded a win as Southend A beat previously unbeaten Braintree by 51 points.
However, Southend B were defeated by ten points in a close encounter with their Rayleigh neighbours in a compound competition. Vic Drawbridge (275 points) and George Benson (264) led Rayleigh home.
