Hockley & Hawkwell Hurricanes blew away Chelmsford Unicorns 76-55 in the latest round of action from the Essex Basketball League.
The game flowed really well due to some excellent refereeing and Hurricanes took advantage of a tight zone defence to establish a 32-27 half-time lead.
However, the floodgates really opened in the second half as the Hurricanes took advantage of some bad shot-selection from the home side to come away comfortable winners.
Erkenwald also continued their impressive form when they ran out 65-51 victors in a visit to a depleted Plume Panthers side.
The teams traded baskets to go in tied at 27-27 at half-time but Erkenwald started to play good fast-break basketball after the break and established a a 47-31 lead with some short-range jump shots.
Panthers managed to cut the score to 49-46 but Erkenwald's youth told in the end as fatigue set in.
