An award-winning ride will open on Saturday offering youngsters a trip through Hell at Southend's Adventure Island.
Beelzee Bob's Trail will finally be unveiled after more than two years of work creating the unique ride which cost more than £1 million.
The ghost train-style ride can take small youngsters accompanied by an adult on a whirlwind tour through a haunted castle.
Adventure Island marketing manager Ted Lewin said: "The ride won best new ride in 1999 in the British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions' awards even before it was opened."
Adventure Island general manager Robert Roberts was the brains behind the animated characters throughout the ride and Southend artist Paul Clapp provided the murals and paintings decorating its walls.
The whole attraction has been purpose-built in the park instead of being bought in from ride manufacturers.
The first opportunity for the public to try Beelzee Bob's Trail will be at 11am on Saturday and throughout next week during the half-term holiday.
