ESSEX JUNIOR TROPHY SIXTH ROUND

The two Mid-Essex league clubs left in the competition won through to the semi-final stages, following victories on Saturday.

Mundon Vics visited Helions Bumpstead and needed extra-time before clinching victory.

Mike White's goal gave Mundon the lead but Helions equalised before the break.

There were no goals in the second half but Tristan Brown and Dave Newton goals in the extra-time period saw Mundon through to a 3-1 victory.

Inter Verlatzi led visitors Sibar Sports 3-0, before eventually winning 4-2, Warren Hawthorne scoring twice for Inter Verlatzi.

PREMIER DIVISION

Leaders Tillingham Hotspur had little trouble in disposing of Ravens.

Leading at half-time through Mark Hubbard's goal, Hotspur added five more in the second-half via Anthony Swanborough (2) and Scott Osborne (2) and Gavin Buckle.

A Gary Minns hat-trick helped Shelley Royals to a surprise 3-1 win over a depleted Burnham Ramblers , whose goal was put away by Neil Rowlands.

Marconi slipped to a shock defeat at Hannakins Farm . The teams were level at 1-1 at the interval but Hannakins hit five goals in the second-half to Marconi's one to win 6-2.

An own goal and Richard Bastion's goal counted for Marconi.

Southminster easily overcame Outwood Common 7-2.

The home team strolled into a 5-0 interval lead and although the sides shared four second-half goals, Outwood were never in the game.

Darren Harding (2), Etheridge (2), Dennerley (2) and Carrington netted the Saints' goals.

DIVISION ONE

Anglia Poly maintained their good form with a 3-1 win at White Roding, Skordalakis, Joannides and Kamba netting for the students, and Mike Whitlaw for Roding.

Mark Buckland netted twice for Outwood Common Reserves in their 5-1 win over visitors Writtle Manor .

DIVISION THREE

Grant Lunn netted a hat-trick for Blackwater Royals in their 4-0 win over Springfield Rouge, a side who have gone off the boil since Christmas.

Mayland Village beat Ravens Reserves 8-2, after the sides had shared four goals at the interval.

Scott King netted four of the Mayland goals.

Rowland, Miller, Hector and Ingard were on target for Old Chelmsfordians Reserves in their 4-0 win over Ongar.
