Two Colchester students have set up their own website to help others who are being bullied.

Oli Watts, 15, and Katie Riddle, 16, had both been bullied in the past and hope their pupiline.net site will help other teenagers.

Many other issues affecting teenagers will also be discussed on the site in the future, with links to other good sites and information about what to do in Colchester already up and running.

Oli thought up the idea of creating a site for teenagers, written by teenagers, just two weeks ago. Since then he has created a set of bold, bright pages with content help coming from Katie.

Oli had been bullied while studying at a school in Suffolk, and although he received lots of help and support from his parents David and Annette and brother Harry, he still felt he wanted more information.

He looked on the web for a child-friendly site about bullying - but couldn't find one.

Now several months on he has moved schools and is happily at the Gilberd School, Colchester, along with Katie.

Support has been given to the project by internet service provider Keconnect, which has given the web space for the venture. Children's television presenter and Colchester man Dermot O'Leary has pledged his support, too.
