Hullbridge Sports booked a place in the Second Division League Cup final after their 2-1 win over a spirited Zeus side. They will meet Ambleside in the final.
Ekco 2nd had a surprise 1-0 success at Nicholas Colts thanks to a Graham goal, but their joy was tempered by news that fellow strugglers Ambleside had won 4-2 at bottom club Estrada.
In Division Three top dogs Rochford were held 2-2 at William de Ferrers, despite two goals from Wright, while Chalkwell made up ground on the top three when they won 9-2 at Lions. Micklewright got four and S Morris three.
Terode, of Eastwoodbury Ramblers 2nd, also scored four as his side beat Brit Athletic 2nd 6-3.
