Youngsters were able to enjoy a "moo-lennium" experience with a difference.
Hands-on milking demonstrations are part of an all new cow zone at Marsh Farm in South Woodham Ferrers.
Seven-year-old Chloe Richards, of Western Road, Billericay, was just one visitor to get stuck into making her own cow in the new cow zone classroom.
The zone also features the milk production process from the cow to the doorstep and panels on beef production, the environment and farming.
