The Street in Little Totham was the scene for this year's fourth annual village pancake race.
This year Little Totham's All Saints Church took on St Peter's Church from Goldhanger and more than 40 people joined in the challenge.
There were three pancake races, three relay races and a competition for the most outrageously dressed competitor which was won by 12-year-old Emily Harris of Goldhanger. Prizes included sweets for the children, pancake mix for the teenagers and wooden spoons for the adults.
The aim of the day was not just to have fun but also to remind everyone of the onset of Lent. Shrove Tuesday, or pancake day, is Tuesday March 7.
