Broadmayne were this week's goal-scoring heroes in the Vange Sunday League.

They won 10-0 at Hodgson A in the First Division with Buhagiar and Pieira both scoring hat-tricks.

A Sorrell was another goal trio star with his treble coming for Signet in a 6-0 success against Smallgains. Rochford Town dropped a point in their double game with third-placed Spark-bridge to fall to second. They drew the first match 2-2 thanks to a double from Johnson, while Sach and C Ball were on target in their 2-0 success in the second encounter.

Canvey Orient stay fourth after Tandy's goal gave them a 1-0 win over Sixty Acres.

Steelers go up to fifth after taking four points off bottom club AFC Horndon in their double header. Hockley and Hawkwell are favourites for the Division One title after a 7-2 win over Ashworth Town. Powel scored four goals.

Thundersley Rovers, lying second, went two points clear of Enterprise Athletic after beating them 2-1. Effreme and Roberts got the goals for the winning side.

Rochford Town Reserves dented the promotion challenge of fifth-placed Rayleigh when they beat them 3-2. Patient, L Clarke and King were all on target for the triumphant side.

The Division Two battle of the giants saw Belvedere beat Stanford Wanderers 2-1 thanks to a double from Brown. It was Wanderers first defeat of the season and sent them down to third place.

Linford Wanderers Reserves moved up to second after taking all the points off bottom team Middleway with 9-1 and 2-0 wins. Simmons scored four goals in the first game and Hemmings got two.

Kuka Sports, lying fourth, also got four points with a double-header success over Steelers Reserves. Kuka won 6-1 and 2-1 with Leven scoring five.
