Bass provided plenty of cheer for Linford Wanderers as they went back to the top of the Bukta Southend District League Premier Division by taking all the points in a double-header with Cricketers Horndon.
For Bass scored three goals in all as Linford stumped Horndon 4-1 twice while J Davies grabbed two in the second game.
