Third Division Haydon Manor cruised into the Veterans County Cup final with a 3-0 win over Premier Division strugglers Chapel United.

They will now face Pegasus on March 26 at Witham Town.

Fords moved to the top of the Southend Borough Combination Veterans League with a 3-0 win over Pegasus but, with only one point separating the top three, it promises to be a very close finale.

In the Executive Cup, Maltby moved into the semi-finals with a 2-0 win over holders Canvey, Hill and Mason grabbing the goals.

Courtlands are the new Division One leaders. Despite being 2-0 down at half-time to Eastwoodbury Ramblers, goals from Judd (2) and Frankis secured a 3-2 success.

Promotion rivals Benfleet and Tag shared six goals in a 3-3 thriller.

In the Junior Executive Cup, holders Old Southendian moved into the second round with an 88th-minute winner from Rees against Brit Athletic.

Hullbridge were also successful, beating struggling Laindon Athletic 2nd 4-0 thanks to a Tappin double. Basildon Irish had a similar result against Estrada, Parkinson grabbing a brace.

Rochford Town lost only their second match of the season, going down 1-0 to Chalkwell, who kept their hopes of promotion alive with a Stewart goal.

William de Ferrers beat bottom-of-the-table Lions 4-0 with Lloyd scoring two. Milton Athletic, with only nine men, held out for a 2-2 draw against Leigh Ramblers.
