Cancer victim Rob Green's colleagues and friends are holding a sponsored abseil in memory of a daredevil.
But they face a slight problem. While they have the equipment ready, they have nowhere to stage the fundraising stunt.
Andy Davis, pressroom manager for Newsquest on the Severalls Industrial Estate, Colchester, said: "The taller the building the better. We want a real challenge."
Mr Davis, 35, of Hill Road, Clacton, said: "Rob was a bit of a daredevil. He'd been bungee jumping, so we wanted to do something to get the butterflies going in his memory."
Mr Green, of Park Road in Clacton, worked as a machine minder for Newsquest and died last month aged 28 after fighting testicular cancer for ten months.
About 20 people are expected to take part to raise money for cancer charities. Anyone who has a suitable venue is asked to contact Mr Davis on 01206 855011.
