Westcliff rugby club's under-11 side jetted off to Italy today for a ten-team international tournament in Rome.
The youngsters will pit their skills in friendly games against local teams before playing against teams from England, Italy and France in the tournament on Sunday.
Sandwiched in between is a trip to watch the Six Nations clash between Italy and England on Saturday.
They had hoped to have been playing a curtain-raiser game for the Rome crowd prior to the Six Nations clash, but this match has been cancelled.
