David Cole won the men's singles title against his old rival Rik James in the final of the Colchester and District Table Tennis League's annual tournament.
It was the sixth season in a row the two have been pitched together in the final and Cole won a thrilling three-game match to take the trophy for the fourth time in his career.
Cole later collected his second trophy when he won the mixed doubles with partner Claire Emmerson.
