A 22-year-old man was dragged to a secluded spot before being robbed, assaulted and threatened with rape and murder.

The victim was walking along Vicarage Road, Chelmsford, in the early hours of March 4 when he was grabbed by his attacker and taken to a quiet part of Chelmsford College's Moulsham Street campus nearby.

It was there the assailant robbed the 22-year-old of just £6 cash and threatened to kill him.

The victim was also assaulted.

It is not clear whether the victim needed hospital treatment for any injuries.

Police have described the attacker as aged between 18 and 25 and 6ft tall. He spoke with a London or Essex accent.
