Police today made a new appeal for witnesses a week after a fight broke out involving 40 youngsters.
One teenager was treated at Basildon Hospital for head injuries after being repeatedly punched.
Three 14-year-old boys, who left the youth club in Cress-ells, in Great Knightleys, Laindon, were chased and ass-aulted at 9.20pm last Friday.
PC Dominic Davis, of Laindon police, said the attack "seemed unprovoked".
