Just one match was played in Southend Borough Combination knockout competitions on Saturday and this, a Cater Cup semi-final, saw Southchurch Hall OS 4th bathing in glory at Spa to win a final spot against Old Rochfordians 2nd 2-1.

Brook Sports still lead the way in Division Six after Ling's hat-trick saw them beat Battlesbridge 3rd 5-1. Parsons Barn 2nd's revival continued at the bottom when they beat Customs 3rd 5-4 with B Lawrence netting a treble goal tally.
