A new chiropractic clinic has been opened in Chelmsford by husband and wife, Kelvin and Deb Murray.

The Complete Chiropractic Clinic is based at 88 Broomfield Road and has been fitted out with equipment from the UK, Europe, the USA and the couple's home country, Australia.

"The clinic is a family-based centre which offers an environment which will cater for children as well as adults," said Kelvin.

"Many problems which adults suffer start in childhood as relatively minor and more easily corrected postural weaknesses.

"We hope to educate our patients about preventing future problems and the advantage of health maintenance, as well as providing the best treatment for acute care.

"We will be offering many types of physical therapy as well as a range of gentle chiropractic techniques to help get people well."

Kelvin completed a five-year university degree course in chiropractice in Melbourne, Australia after completing a science degree and some post graduate study.

He has been in private practice for almost 15 years, is registered with the General Chiropractic Council in England and is accepted by most insurance companies.

With around 80 per cent of people suffering from back pain at some point in their lives, the couple believe there will be a strong demand for services at their new clinic.

They are also looking forward to settling down in the area. Kelvin said, "We have been working in London, but feel that life with our four children will be nicer in a lovely place like Chelmsford.

"We want to ensure our clinic is an asset to Chelmsford and the surrounding community and will be providing our best possible service to patients."
