An under-age girl was persuaded to pose for topless photographs when she went to a Witham house for a cleaning job.

And a court heard how she was indecently assaulted by a man while his wife took a photograph of her.

Chelmsford Crown Court was told on Tuesday the 15-year-old was shocked after the assault but returned to the house on a number of occasions for more photo sessions.

She even showed one topless shot to her sister and a boy, the court heard.

Husband and wife Terence, 37, and Pamela Golding, 42, of Greenfield, Witham, were both jailed when they appeared in court for sentence.

Judge Warwick McKinnon jailed Terence Golding, for eight months and his former wife for three months. Terence Golding will stay on the sex offenders register for ten years and Pamela Golding for seven years. As they had been on remand, they were expected to be released immediately.

Terence Golding admitted indecent assault, two charges of taking indecent pictures and one of distributing an indecent picture. His wife admitted one charge of taking an indecent picture.

John Caudle, prosecuting, said the girl went to the house early last year for a cleaning job but was asked by Terence Golding if she would pose for topless pictures.

The girl agreed but Mr Caudle said on one occasion, Terence Golding indecently assaulted her while his wife took a picture.

Craig Rush, mitigating for Terence Golding, said his pleas had saved the girl the experience of giving evidence. Golding was determined to put these matters behind him and had moved from Essex to Dorset.

Rachel Jenkins, mitigating for Pamela Golding, said there was no possibility of anything similar happening again.
