Basildon Swimming club look set for a glowing future after they retained the Southend Annual Trophy Gala.
The club led from the start and held off a valiant fight from Canvey to win by 11 points. Rochford were fourth and Southend fifth.
Basildon had a clean sweep in the girls U10 category as Sacha Cohen won the backstroke and butterfly, with team-mate Bonnie Maxwell taking the breaststroke and freestyle.
The under-10s girls team then added the medley and freestyle relay for good measure, while Hariotte Lamb won the under-14s backstroke.
The boys' winners were James Wright (under-10s backstroke), Billy Hockley (under-12s freestyle and butterfly), David Osborne (open backstroke) and Daniel Wedge (open freestyle).
Relay success also came in the boys' under-12 medley and the men's open freestyle and medley.
