The world championship decathlon silver medallist, currently warm weather training in America for the Olympics, took time off to publicise tomorrow's national "UK Trainers Day" to raise cash for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
Tomorrow thousands of "sole supporters"of the event will wear their trainers and pop £1 into special collection boxes being distributed.
