A millennium baby will be returning to the hospital unit where she spent the first month of her life, and of the 21st century.
Abigail Walker weighed just 3lbs 9oz when she was born on New Year's Day - nine weeks early for mum Michelle Pettitt and dad Bill Walker, of High Woods, Colchester.
On Monday the family will return to the special care baby unit at Colchester General Hospital with Abigail's great-grandmother Una Warren.
Mrs Warren will present £500 raised at a raffle by West Bergholt Social Club to staff at the unit, which will help buy an infusion pump.
Abigail was her mum's third child, she also has Rhys, five, and Liam, two.
