Southend Manor's hopes of winning the Schweppes Essex Senior League title are fast fading, but will disappear completely if they fail to beat Sawbridgeworth at home tomorrow (Saturday).
They are currently three points behind top dogs Saffron Walden, who have a game in hand and should win at Hullbridge.
After tomorrow's action, Manor will have just four games to play and even victory would see them just three points clear of Burnham Ramblers, who would have two games in hand.
Manor's best hope of glory is, of course, in the Ancient Order of Foresters League Cup. They take on Saffron Walden in the final at Leyton on Easter Saturday.
Although they are in the Harry Fisher Trophy final on May 1 - Burnham Ramblers provide the opposition at Barking - Concord Rangers' main League ambitions are to finish in the top half. To achieve that objective they could do with full points at home to Woodford.
After winning the League and Cup last term, Bowers United are another side with more limited aims this time round. They can add to their ambitions of finishing in the top half with victory at Leyton.
