Midfielder Jim Magilton is Ipswich Town's big injury worry ahead of tomorrow's (Saturday's) big clash with Port Vale at Portman Road.

Magilton injured an ankle in the 1-1 midweek draw at West Bromwich Albion and is rated as only 50/50 to start the match.

Defender John McGreal is definitely out, but Town manager George Burley is confident Micky Stockwell, who also injured an ankle on Tuesday, will be fit.

Marcus Stewart could be in line for a recall to the starting 11 after playing for 25 minutes in the week.

But it is a case of wait and see on the fitness of Fabian Wilnis and Manuel Thetis.

Wilnis has started light training again after a hamstring injury while Thetis picked up an ankle injury playing for the reserves earlier this week.

Port Vale should include former Colchester man Sagi Burton in their line-up - he scored in their fine 2-2 midweek draw against runaway leaders Charlton.

And Burley said that the visitors should not be taken lightly.

He said: "They are battling for their lives - they need to pick up points and are good up front so it will be a tough game. It's all to play for as it's very tight - I hope we get a good crowd and can pick up the three points.

"We are playing well and the team is in good form. It's down to us - we've got to keep playing the way we are but taking more of the opportunities that we are creating.

"We've been dominating games and not taking the percentage of chances we should be."
