Essex Police have some new recruits - only these are four-legged ones.
Two of the dogs which passed out at the Essex Dog Training Centre at Sandon will be stationed at Laindon.
German shepherds Ronnie and Jack are the latest canine constables after completing their training.
The dogs and their trainers took part in a special passing out ceremony yesterday in which they performed a display of their skills and received certificates.
Three other dogs also took part in the ceremony. Taz will be staying in Sandon and two others will be going to work in Norfolk.
