These two businessmen will be swapping their suits for shorts and T-shirts when they take part in this year's London Marathon.

Stephen Golder of Western Road, Thundersley, and Graham Robinson of St James Gardens, Westcliff, are both running to raise money for the Greater London Fund for the Blind.

The pair have been training hard for the past six months and are looking forward to the 26-mile challenge on Sunday April 16.

Dad-of-three, Mr Golder, said: "It is the first time I have run since I was at school.

"Having watched the marathon for the last several years I just thought it would be a nice thing to do. My wife thinks I am mad but she is going to be there to cheer me on with the rest of my family."
