Billericay's amazing recent climb up the Ryman League Premier Division table will see them in seventh place if they can pull off a fourth successive victory tonight.

Town visit former boss John Kendall's current club Chesham and, having had the Indian sign over their former manager in two previous encounters this term, will be confident of pulling off a third successive success against a side lying fourth in the table.

Billericay's victory bid will be given further impetus by the fact that two teams in catchable positions just above them, Slough and Dulwich, both suffered defeats last night.

Dulwich were beaten 2-1 at home by a Hitchin side who came close to ending their own relegation fears with the three points gained. Slough lost 2-0 at in-form Purfleet who, although still lying sixth, now realistically fancy their chances of finishing as high as third.

Billericay themselves dropped a place to tenth last night as Hendon moved above them with a 1-0 win at struggling Carshalton, but three points tonight would see Gary Calder's men rise by three places and be in a good position for a strong finish.

Four of their last six games are against sides battling to beat the drop.
