Oakwood Sports went one over the eight in the Premier when they crushed hosts Rayleigh Avenue 9-0 away. Coleman was mustard in the scoring stakes with four goals.

D Griffiths was another four-goal hero as Spartek won 7-2 at Hullbridge Sports in Division One.

It's a great day for Shoebury Old Boys next Sunday when they go to Tiptree to take on Sceptre League Castle Rangers, from Canvey, in the Essex Sunday Junior Cup final (10.30am).

Shoebury prepared in style with a 5-2 Division Two win at Graphic in which Mahoney and Martin scored two apiece.

Top individual scoring honours went to Hamlin, who hit the net no less than seven times as Smallgains Park crushed Rayleigh Town 2nd 8-1 in Division Five.
