PREMIER DIVISION
Braintree & Bocking United beat hosts Hannakins Farm 2-1, and Gary Wright, 16, was the star of the show on his first team debut for Braintree.
The home team scored after 30 minutes, and their goal was equalised on the stroke of half time by Terry Cleverley.
Wright then popped up to net the winner for Braintree in the second half.
With the top three teams not in league action, Marconi missed the chance to put pressure on the leaders when they were fortunate to share the points with lowly Rainsford in a 1-1 draw. Carl Wilkinson netted the Marconi goal.
Hullbridge beat relegated Outwood Common 4-1 after leading 2-1 at the break. Acton, Byrne and Fanguin (2) scored for the home side, with Martin Coughlin on target for Outwood.
DIVISION ONE
Writtle made sure of Division One football next season with a 4-1 win over Latchingdon, who are now involved in a relegation battle, along with Tillingham Hotspur Reserves and Braintree & Bocking United Reserves.
Leaders Marconi Reserves beat Writtle Manor 5-0, Darren Wiffen, Lee Selleck, Simon Cook (2) and substitute Lee Sterland the scorers.
Outwood Common Reserves beat White Roding 5-1, Dan Kirby (3), Mark Buckland and Ben Waverley the Common scorers.
DIVISION TWO
The relegation battle at Herongate Athletic ended all square when they shared four goals and the points with visitors E.E.V.
Paul King and Keith Pettit netted for the home team and Mark Taylor and Ben Bloomfield for E.E.V.
St Margarets look to be in serious trouble of going down after going down 8-1 at second-in-the-table Brentwood , while Apps and Griffin goals gaveHarold Wood Athletic a share of the points with Old Brentwoods .
DIVISION THREE
The villain of the day was Blackwater Royals' Andy Thomas who missed a penalty in the final minutes against Inter Verlatzi.
Inter led at the interval via Warren Hawthorne's goal, and Royals equalised through Marcus Wilson in the second period.
AtBenfleet ,Mayland Village won 3-1, with Glen Wood scoring the home teams goal when they were 2-0 down.
Tony Constantides missed a penalty for Boreham Reserves who drew 0-0 with visitors Ravens Reserves .
Old Chelmsfordians Reserves beat visitors Springfield Rouge 4-3 after the scores were level at 2-2 at the interval. Rider netted two of the old boys goals.
