Southend Manor's brave bid for a Schweppes Essex Senior League championship and cup double will be decided over a hectic last fortnight which starts tomorrow (Saturday).

They should certainly get the three points on offer when they visit Woodford Town, but life could be tougher on Tuesday when they visit a Leyton outfit who produced one of the shock results of the season in midweek with a 3-1 win at current leaders Saffron Walden.

Manor, managed by Mark Jenkins, take a break from League action on Easter Saturday (tomorow week) when they take on Walden at the Hare and Hounds Ground, Leyton, in the final of the Ancient Order of Foresters League Cup.

From there it's back to the League on Easter Monday with a match at another of their title rivals Burnham Ramblers, before they end their season on April 29 with what could be a thrilling championship decider against Walden at Southchurch Park.

Certainly Manor will be hopeful that ace striker Ben Barnett can add to his tally of 29 goals which sees him running away with the League's Don Douglas Trophy which goes to the leading marksman of the season.

Apart from their final day clash with Manor, Walden will be fancied to win their last two League games - at Eton Manor tomorrow and Stansted the following Saturday.

Burnham and Ilford are the other two title-chasing sides. Concord could upset the Burnham push tomorrow when they visit Ramblers.

This match will be a curtain-raiser for the Harry Fisher Memorial Trophy final between the two sides on Monday May 1 (3pm at Barking).

Basildon United host Brentwood tomorrow with Bowers also having home advantage against Sawbridgeworth. Hullbridge entertain East Ham.
