BillericayTown boss Gary Calder draws towards the end of his first season in charge with a "the times they are a changing" message for the fans.

The New Lodge club visit Walton and Hersham, the bottom club, tomorrow (Saturday) in the Ryman League Premier Division and hope to take their unbeaten run to five games.

Calder admitted: "We need to finish the season with a flourish as generally this has been a disappointing season as we've displayed far too much inconsistency.

"Certainly there will be changes on the playing side for next season. I've sat down with the chairman and the committee in the past week giving my thoughts on what's needed by way of change and throwing forward the names of some players I'd like to bring here.

"I'm glad to say that they have been very supportive and the money is certainly there on the table to bring in the type of people I want. I hope to be in a position to announce one or two names before the current season ends."

Billericay's recent revival means that, with good results over their last six matches, they could finish the term as high as seventh when, only a fortnight ago, they feared being dragged into the relegation dogfight.

There could be extra injury problems, however, for tomorrow's match as Jeff Woolsey has picked up a niggling strain. On the plus side Kirk Game could be fit to return for the first time in weeks, but hamstring trouble continues to sideline striker Stafford Browne.
