Travelling Demon Skater Hockey Club travelling to Dunstable Leisure Centre and with only two Demon teams playing there were mixed fortunes on Sunday.
The Demon Shadows were missing their goalkeeper so Alec Fisher elected to go in goal.
With a depleted side the Shadows fought hard but were overcome in the second quarter and went down 7-1 to the Cambridge Tornadoes.
Next to play were the Youth League leaders, the Demon Aliens, and they were in scintillating form.
Top goalscorer Stuart Mitchell netted four goals, with additional strikes coming from Dan Fitzgerald, Edward Bearfield Smith, Ricky Santos, Alec Fisher, Brendon Roberts and captain Lee Hounslow.
Roger Clark was excellent in goal and the Aliens beat the Decorum Wildcards 11-1.
