Linford Wanderers have won the Essex Junior Cup.

They beat Harlow based Potter Street 1-0 with an 80th minute strike from Ian Bass in the final.

They can now concentrate on retaining their Southend District League Premier Division title - they need just one point from their last three games.

They are also through to the semi-finals of the Centenary Cup, which they hold, and are into the last eight in the French Cup.

Second Division leaders Belvedere are through to the final of the Sanders Cup after beating Bicknacre 2-1 with goals from Brown and Sargent.

Boundary's 3-1 second round win over Middleway - Scott, Cardwell and Hampshire scoring - means they now take on Linford Reserves in the other semi.

Rochford Town had a 5-0 win over Armada Sports - Ryan scoring twice - to win a Centenary Cup semi-final spot against Linford Wanderers.

In the Premier Division of the League Thundersley and Hadleigh moved up to third spot after taking three points off Parma Sports in a double header. They drew 1-1 and then won 2-1. Parma are now in relegation trouble.

Fourth-placed Steelers beat ninth-placed Cricketers Horndon 2-1 with O'Leary and Porter on target.

In Division One, Blackgate Gunners, lying ninth, had a shock 3-2 win over Rayleigh, who are fifth. Hinds shot home a brace for Gunners.

In the local derby Wickford Rangers, fourth, and Enterprise Athletic, immediately above them, drew 0-0.

In Division Two, third-placed Linford Reserves beat Hockley and Hawkwell, Reserves, down in 11th spot, 8-1. Simmonds, D Talbot and A Bass all scored two.

Kittle's trio helped Chase home 4-3 over Parma Sports Reserves.
