Runwell Raiders made it two trips to Roots Hall in a row as they defeated Old Island Boys A in the semi-final of the Charity Cup.

The Premier Division runners-up were expecting a tough game against the runaway winners of Division One. But they built up a 2-1 half-time lead through from Roach and Church. Haynes had hit back for Old Boys.

The second half saw Old Island going all out for an equaliser but Scott Whitney sealed Runwell's final place with a third goal late on.

Runwell go on to play fellow Premier Division side Red Star, who had a 2-0 win over Wickbeech. Dayment and Drake scored the all-important goals to send Steve More's men into the final on May 7.

Grandees were crowned Division two champions with a 3-2 away win at Rayford Town.

Gemini moved into third with twin victories in a double-header against Venables. Lawrence, Burgess and Rodda netted in a 3-1 win in the first match, while Rodda was also on the scoresheet in the second game, a 2-1 victory. Prosser got the other goal.

Steerment claimed a hat-trick as Dunamus slammed six past Sovereign without reply. Braum, Boxall and Davies also scored.

Darren Godfrey scored twice as Premier Division champions Castle Point crusied to a 4-1 win over ISIS in their penultimate match of the season. Sanders and Marsh were also on target, with Bence replying for ISIS.

Burns and Sims scored for Haystack as they completed their League campaign with a narrow 2-1 win against Simco.

Lucas grabbed a hat-trick as Point Sports crushed rivals Rook Sports 7-0 to move up to second place in Division One.

Previous incumbents Benfleet were held 2-2 by bottom club Enterprise Athletic. Pockett and Grace scored for Athletic, with Gibbs and Watts replying for Benfleet.
