By virtue of having scored more goals, New Lodge moved back into pole position after Sunday's 4-3 win over Willowbrook.

Things weren't looking too good for Lodge as they went 3-1 down at the break, Wayne Harriss (2) and Gary Stewart the Willowbrook scorers while an own goal counted for Lodge.

In the second half, Lodge piled on the pressure and Jamie Ovel and Karl Baldwin pulled the score line back level before Mark Brown netted to give New Lodge the win.

Intersports will be ruing the missed chances that saw them lose their first game of the season, to Checkmate , a 30 yard Danny Scott giving Checkmate a 1-0 victory.

White Ursa and Arun Athletic battled out a goalless draw, in a match which both teams had several chances to score, but neither could manage to convert them.

DIVISION TWO

In a goal-packed game, Wallis ran out 6-5 winners over Outwood Common.

Wallis took a 3-1 lead into half time, Mark Norris, Lawrence Shipman and Adam Flack the Wallis scorers.

In the second half, Lawrence Shipman netted his second goal, Anthony Shipman also scored, and the Wallis tally was completed with an own goal.

Alan Riches (2), Ian Harrison, Darren Coleman and Richard Sunderland scored the Outwood Common goals..

Worbouys recorded a 4-0 win over Duke Street. John Harrington gave the 'bouys a 1-0 lead at the break and he netted another goal in the second half, before Paul Dexter and Andy Barrett goals completed the win.

Old Victorians led Gloucester Avenue 2-1 at half time. Gavin Bradley and a free kick from Paul Hopper gave Vics the lead while Rob Miller netted for Gloucester.

In the second half Hopper added another goal following a corner before Dean Page reduced the arrears, but the old boys held on for the win.
