Two teenagers missing since the weekend are recovering at home after giving themselves up.
The pair had been sleeping rough across south Essex after leaving their homes on Saturday with just £12 between them. Police launched a hunt for the pair but they phoned their parents on Wednesday to say they would be coming home.
Faith Davies, 15, of Rochford Gardens Way, Rochford, and Tristan Lovett, 14, of Canterbury Avenue, Southend, spent Saturday night at Hadleigh Castle before seeking sanctuary in the grounds of Ferndale Baptist Church, North Avenue, Southend.
Tristan's father James, 45, said: "We're so relieved, I'm just thanking God they were OK."
