A church has refused money from an amateur dramatic society because of the risque nature of its new show, the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
A spokesman for Leigh Operatic and Dramatic Society said: "In the past the United Reformed Church sold tickets for our performance and all profits went towards the church.
"However, they are not doing it this year because they don't like the content of the show."
