Youngsters got the chance to see how their parents earn their salary when HSBC opened its doors to employees' children.
As part of the Let's Open Doors Initiative, the bank in Victoria Plaza, Southend, invited 26 children to see their parents hard at work and learn what goes on behind the scenes.
Recruitment manager Karen Gooding said: "We are delighted by the response from schoolchildren to experience a day in the life of HSBC.
"This is part of our community banking philosophy and it is one of a number of opportunities the bank is providing for young people."
