Skies remained obligingly clear for this year's Music From the Lake event in Billericay, attracting a crowd of more than 1,500. Previous concerts held in the grounds of Lake Meadows Park have been marred by rain.
However, music lovers were able to enjoy the event - featuring a medley of music from the Big Band era - without fear of a soaking.
