A man was robbed in the street as he walked home after a night out.
The victim was approached from behind as he walked past the Drury Arms on Drury Road, Colchester, at 2.30am on Saturday.
He told police he was assaulted by a man who scratched him and snatched £330 from him.
The robber is described as a man with long hair, possibly wearing a long black leather coat.
